Concerns are:
Previous planning application has been refused by Scarborough Borough Council and the Planning Inspectorate,
Department of the Environment - In the intrim it is not considered that there have been any material changes to the site in terms of its suitability for development, in fact they would now be worse taking all issues into consideration.
Outside of Development Limits - Green Belt
Building will result in Country Park being Contiguous with the urban area - Detrimental to the enjoyment of Country Park Visitors
This site performs a valuable role in separation of Country Park from urban Filey - Green belt - Buffer Zone from urban Filey
A detrimental effect on Country Park and Filey Brigg would diminish its rural character, which is so attractive to visitors
The interests of permanent residents and holidaymakers may not always coincide - Country Park Caravan Site Bordering Site HA23 now HA24
Protection of a tourism asset within the borough.(Country Park and its Caravan Site)- Bordering Site HA23 now HA24
Regarding the need to safeguard the distinctive seaside resort of Filey- Mr Ian Smith, English Heritage.
